THE SABBATH, THE HOLY FEASTS,
THE SABBATH YEAR,
AND THE YEAR OF JUBILEE

OUTLINE

  1. The Sabbath:
    1. Being the principal denotation of all the annual feasts.
    2. A complete rest.
    3. A holy convocation.
    4. Not doing any work.
    5. A sabbath to Jehovah.
  2. The holy feasts:
    1. The Feast of the Passover.
    2. The Feast of Unleavened Bread.
    3. The Feast of Firstfruits.
    4. The Feast of Pentecost.
    5. The Feast of the Blowing of Trumpets.
    6. The Feast of Expiation.
    7. The Feast of Tabernacles.
  3. The Sabbath year.
  4. The year of jubilee:
    1. The jubilee coming out of eight consecutive Sabbath years:
      1. Being the Pentecostal year, comprising eight eighth years.
      2. Those who lost their possession returning to it.
      3. Those who were in slavery being released.
    2. The significance of the jubilee:
      1. The New Testament age as the year of jubilee to the God-redeemed believers:
        1. Returning to the possession lost in Adam.
        2. Those under the slavery of sin being set free.
      2. The jubilee in the millennium:
        1. To inherit the land lost through Adam.
        2. To be freed from the slavery of the old creation.
      3. The jubilee in the new heaven and new earth:
        1. To inherit the new earth as an eternal inheritance.
        2. To be freed from all slavery.
