- As God’s concrete expression in humanity.
- As God’s dwelling place in humanity.
- As the means by which man contacts God and thereby receives and enjoys God.
- It being made of wood overlaid with gold.
- It being divided into two sections—the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies.
- Its covering.
- Its two veils:
- The outer screen.
- The inner veil.
- Its hangings.
- Typifying the church:
- With the believers as the standing boards:
- Having both divinity and humanity in Christ.
- Being built together by being joined in divinity.
- Being built together as God’s habitation.
- It being also called the tent of meeting.
