THE RAM PROVIDED BY GOD

OUTLINE

1. A ram (a male sheep):
   1. A male signifying Christ as the strong One.
   2. A sheep signifying Christ as the meek, gentle, and perfect One.
2. Typifying Christ as the One provided by God:
   1. Leaving the freedom of His divinity.
   2. His fighting power being caught in His humanity.
3. Typifying Christ as the Substitute of those who inherit God’s promised inheritance:
   1. Dying on their behalf to satisfy God’s requirement.
   2. Living on their behalf to satisfy God’s desire:
      1. That they may live to righteousness.
      2. That they may become the righteousness of God.
