MESSAGE THIRTEEN

HAVING ENTERED THROUGH THE NARROW GATE AND WALKING ON THE CONSTRICTED WAY

Scripture Reading: Matt. 7:13-14

OUTLINE

1. In the decree of the kingdom’s constitution, Christ displayed the two possible ways of people’s life and work before God-Matt. 7:13-14:
   1. The broad way:
      1. Through the wide gate.
      2. Leading to destruction.
      3. Many walking on this broad way who have entered through the wide gate.
      4. According to the worldly systems satisfying the natural tastes.
      5. To get the crowd.
      6. To maintain a career of man.
      7. Achieving man’s enterprise.
   2. The constricted way:
      1. Through the narrow gate.
      2. Leading to life.
      3. Few walking on this constricted way who have found it.
      4. According to the divine regulations fulfilling the spiritual requests.
      5. To bring in God’s elect.
      6. To bear the testimony of Jesus Christ.
      7. Carrying out God’s economy.
2. For the building up of the church of God-the Body of Christ:
   1. The entry in all things must be narrow:
      1. In preaching the gospel.
      2. In teaching the truth.
      3. In edifying the believers.
      4. In maturing the saints.
   2. The ongoing in all the works must be constricted:
      1. In saving the sinners.
      2. In feeding the new believers.
      3. In perfecting the saints.
      4. In building up the church of God-the Body of Christ.
