OUTLINE
- The all-inclusiveness of Christ:
- In His divinity:
- He is the mystery of God, and in Him all the fullness of the entire Godhead-the Father, the Son, and the Spirit-dwells bodily.
- He comes in the name of the Father and works also in the name of the Father.
- His name is called the Eternal Father.
- He is the image of God to declare God.
- In His name the Father sends the Holy Spirit, and in His name also the Holy Spirit comes.
- He sends the Holy Spirit from and with the Father, and the Holy Spirit also comes from and with the Father.
- He is the Spirit.
- He is the One who fills all in all.
- In His humanity:
- He became flesh, partaking of blood and flesh and taking the likeness of the flesh of sin.
- He became a man.
- He is the Firstborn of all creation.
- He is the Firstborn from the dead.
- He became the life-giving Spirit in resurrection.
- The Spirit of God became His Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- He poured out the Holy Spirit whom He had received from the Father, and He gives the Spirit not by measure.
- He was begotten with His humanity in resurrection to be the firstborn Son of God with many brothers.
- He was made both Lord and Christ in ascension.
- He is the Heir of all things.
