THE PURPOSE OF THE BLENDING

OUTLINE

1. The eternal economy of God:
   1. To produce an organic Body to be an organism to God for His increase and expression.
   2. By God Himself becoming man that man may become God.
2. The local churches:
   1. Not the goal of God’s economy.
   2. But a procedure to reach God’s goal.
3. The universal Body of Christ:
   1. The blending of all the local churches in the divine life.
   2. Consummating in the New Jerusalem as the unique organism for the processed and consummated Triune God’s eternal increase and expression.

Prayer: Lord, we praise You for Your eternal economy. How we thank You that You have brought us all into Your recovery. In the past years we have enjoyed Your rich mercy and Your abounding grace. Lord, we love You and we need You. We need You to the uttermost. This is why we have come here. Thank You for Your gathering. We look unto You for further and further mercy and grace. Be one spirit with us and anoint the entire congregation. Lord, sustain us. Be one with us in Your speaking. Lord, would You speak in our speaking? We trust in You. Thank You, dear Lord. Amen.
