GIVE UP THE WORLD CHRIST TO OBTAIN

    1. The footsteps of Moses-Heb. 11:24-27:
      1. By faith refusing to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter-v. 24.
      2. Choosing rather to be ill-treated with the people of God than to have the temporary enjoyment of sin-v. 25.

      1. Becoming the one to usher in the New Testament ministry-1 Cor. 9:17; Eph. 3:2.
        1. Completing the word of God-the revelation of God’s New Testament economy-Col. 1:25.
        2. Building up the Body of Christ-the habitation of God in the universe-Eph. 2:20-22; 1 Cor. 3:10.
      2. Receiving the kingdom-2 Tim. 4:7-8, 18a.
  3. The coming joy that results from being spent for Christ-2 Cor. 12:15a:
    1. Being welcomed into the eternal tabernacles by those who receive benefit from you-Luke 16:9.
    2. Having the ones that have received your help as your crown and joy at the coming of Christ-1 Thes. 2:19-20.
    3. Participating in the joy of Christ in the kingdom-Matt. 25:21, 23.
  4. Completing the New Testament ministry-Eph. 4:11-12:
    1. Building the church of God-1 Tim. 3:15-16.

      1. Arriving at the oneness in practicality-v 13a.

      3. Arriving at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ-v. 13c.
      4. No longer babes-v. 14.
      5. Holding to truth in love, growing up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ-v. 15.
      6. Out from the Head all the Body, fitted and knit together through every joint of the supply, according to the operation in measure of each one part, causing the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love-v. 16.
