BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS

Scripture: Acts 16:30-31

1. Who is the Lord Jesus?
   1. He is the Lord who created the universe. He is also the God who is our Savior.
   2. He is Jesus who is God become a man. He is the One who is God and also is a man.
   3. He became man to bear our sins. And because He is God, He is also able to forgive our sins.
2. What did the Lord Jesus do?
   1. He died and shed His blood on the cross for our sins.
   2. He resurrected from the dead in order that we might have life.
   3. Because of His death and resurrection He became the Savior of our whole being.
3. What should we do with the Lord Jesus?
   1. Acknowledge that He is the Savior of all mankind.
   2. Acknowledge that He is our Savior, that He died and resurrected for us.
   3. Receive Him as our Savior.
4. The unit of the Lord’s salvation
   Even though the salvation of the Lord comes to an individual, God’s intention is that the entire household unit receive salvation. The salvation of the Lord comes not only to an individual, but also to the whole household. Therefore the Word says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.”
5. The result of salvation
   1. Sins are forgiven.
   2. Eternal life is obtained.
